She writes stuff

Jo blends a love of writing (and reading) with expertise as a child passenger safety advocate to author fun, impactful children’s books that promote literacy and lifelong vehicle safety habits. She also crafts short stories for big people just for fun.

After years of writing corporate-y stuff for a living, she believes she found her niche writing car seat-themed kids’ books that fill a critical subject matter gap in children’s literature and safety education.

As a busy mom of four, and grandma of two, Jo’s accumulated thousands of miles of first-hand experience using car seats and boosters, so she feels pretty comfortable writing about this life-saving topic.

For more than 20 years she managed Car Seats for Christy; raising awareness about child passenger safety and donating car seats to those in need. She learned a ton during those years and is excited to capture and share some of those “aha” moments with you.
